What is going on about green design and global warming? It is really happening? Some of us who recall the ’70s are asking ourselves whether this is another scene from the oil crisis a few decades ago. This time, it is real. We have to do something about it. Actually, we are running out of time fast.In this workshop, you will learn about green design, why it is so important, and what a mail center can do about it. We will discuss specific actions that you can take to reduce operating costs, improve employee productivity and enhance the environment.

About Our Speakers:
Professor Mark A. Taylor, MBA, DLP, with three decades of experience consulting thousands of organizations, including Unisys, Ford, General Electric, the United States Postal Service, DHL, and Standard Register Corporation, is considered to be the nation’s authority on increasing profit and productivity in shipping & mailing operations. He has been featured as an industry expert on ABC News and in the New York Times, and is the author of Computerized Shipping Systems: Increasing Profit & Productivity Through Technology. Taylor has been named a Distinguished Logistics Professional (DLP) by the American Society of Transportation & Logistics in recognition of his 30 year, career-long contributions to the field of logistics. He is a professor at Rushmore University.Taylor is in demand as a speaker at major industry events, including the Parcel Shipping and Distribution Forum, the National Conference on Operations & Fulfillment, the National Postal Forum, the Council of Logistics Management, and the Parcel Logistics Expo. This is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. She has been a speaker at MAILCOM and has written numerous articles on the actions we can take to achieve the triple bottom line of saving the planet, saving the world and saving money.
